As yous have already tried installing the drivers and received an mistake message, ne of the things I would suggest you is to perform a make clean print on the computer and check if that helps. A clean print will remove the traces of the printer from registry. To practice this, refer the steps mentioned below:

- Nether Printers, delete all the 3rd party printers except:
- Fax
- Microsoft Impress to PDF
- Microsoft XPS Document Writer
- OneNote
- Transport To OneNote2016
Step 4: Remove all third-party drivers
- PrintingWindows key + I, to openSettings.
- Click onDevices, and selectPrinters & scanners on the left pane.
- Now, click onPrint server backdrop and select theDrivers tab.
- Remove all the third political party drivers.Do not remove whateverMicrosoft print driver.
Step five: Uninstall OEM software
- PressWindows cardinal + R, typeappwiz.cpl and click onOK.
- Find and uninstall all the printer relatedOEM software.
- Verify the aforementioned from registry by navigating toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Organisation\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitor
- Delete all the third party impress monitor from the location except:
- Local Port
- LPR Port
- Microsoft Shared Fax Monitor
- Standard TCP/IP Port
- USB Monitor
- WSD Port
Step 6: Prepare Print Spooler service Startup Type to Automatic
- PressWindows fundamental + R, typeservices.msc and click onOK.
- Expect forPrint Spooler service and double click on information technology.
- Set up theStartup Blazon toAutomatic from the drop down.
- Restart the calculator
Step 7: Re-add the printer
- PressWindows central + I, to openSettings.
- Click onDevices, and selectPrinters & scanners on the left pane.
- SelectAdd Printer or Scanner to re-add the device.

Thank you for your respond. I have not tried your suggestions yet. Hither's some more information you may find useful. A second Microsoft representative remoted in to my laptop, made numerous changes, removing printer drivers and adding generic printer drivers, constantly saying "don't worry" as I voiced my concerns at what she was doing. To make a long story short, she told me I can use Microsoft Scan & Fax now. Just I never had an result with that; it always worked but the scan could not give me a PDF which is what I really needed; they were really pictures. Then she made all those changes for naught. To make matters worse, at present I could not impress fifty-fifty though I could scan through Microsoft. And then I had to do a arrangement restore iii times to get dorsum to where I was.
Back to you now. I now have Windows 10 version 2004 for x64 based systems, updated to 2020-11.
In thinking about your suggestions, I am not sure if they will work. When I blazon 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, I go an mistake message "Hmmm . . . your Net access is blocked". Tried all of this but when I tried to add together printer information technology all the same wouldn't take the drivers
